In most affected families (of spike protein induced illnesses) only one side of the family is affected by Long Covid or Post-Vac. The Stedfasts whilst being blessed with 5 children, of which they took 3 with them on a journey half around the world – New Zealand to Cyprus, were unlucky enough to both be affected severely. But thanks god the tides turned once they arrived in Cyprus. Krisztina Koncsek, Hungría, Post Vac y Long Covid
3 semanas después de su vacunación, Krisztina sufrió un síncope durante una sesión de tenis. No había traumatismo cardiaco agudo, pero tras varias pruebas se diagnosticó una cardiomiopatía. Después de que pareciera recuperarse parcialmente, desarrolló POTS, fatiga y síntomas gastrointestinales leves.
Después de dos infecciones posteriores por Covid empeoró a fatiga severa y POTS severo, comenzaron sus problemas de histamina y la aparición de entumecimiento y dolor de cabeza.
En octubre de 2023, de un día para otro, quedó postrada en cama, con fatiga muy grave, insomnio, dolor gastrointestinal, dolor de estómago, síntomas parecidos a la neuropatía y sensación de inflamación. Los médicos que la trataban dijeron que era psicológico, porque todas sus pruebas de laboratorio estaban bien.
When she arrived the last week of May at the Apheresis Center, she had 35 (!) severe symptoms. Today, beginning of July there are almost no symptoms left, with moderate MCAS being the main symptom to work on. During the video she surprised Markus – she is moving to Cyprus in October – being sunlight-tolerant again after treatment will definitely help there!

Marko nos habla de su experiencia en Chipre, en nuestra clínica de Larnaca, de la ayuda que le prestó Dianna, de apoyo al viajero, con el transporte y el alojamiento, y de las ventajas que encontró en tratarse en nuestra isla. Melene llegó en su scooter de movilidad para discapacitados, que también necesitaba para ir de una habitación a otra.
La lesión postvacunal que experimentó justo después de la administración, le produjo la sensación constante de que su cuerpo ardía todo el tiempo, síntomas de fatiga, PEM, mareos, niebla cerebral, sensibilidad al calor/luz/químicos, MCAS con malabsorción y muchos más.
Despite her not having a long period of stay at our clinic – it is hard to leave two little kids for long with the grandparents – and ‘only’ 4 Help Apheresis sessions, she regained her ability to walk! Other symptoms improved or vanished.

Pero después de que sus síntomas empezaran a ser cada vez más difíciles de soportar (su Covid Largo empezó a mostrar POTS, fatiga, niebla cerebral, insomnio y ansiedad y terminó con espasmos musculares de hasta 10 horas de duración, incapacidad para concentrarse o hacer los deberes y no le quedaban muchas emociones), su madre la llevó de viaje a nuestra clínica en Chipre para recibir tratamiento con Terapia Combinada y H.E.L.P. Despite her way not being easy – she needed a catheter, her small body was not always willing to establish a good blood flow with the machine and the amount of treatable plasma was sometimes lower than desired – after 7 H.E.L.P. Jenni, her husband and her little two kids came to Cyprus for a month, because her Post Vaccine Injury had become so unbearable she had to take action. Her symptom list was long, just like most patients’:

Niños y adolescentes de Long Covid: Zac Sobey (13) y su padre Ryan, Long Covid, Australia
13-year-old Zac Sobey from Australia went from being carried to the beach – because he could no longer walk – to surfing in a matter of weeks after having been treated at our clinic. His father, Ryan Sobey, originally from South Africa is a scientist with background in genetics and biochemistry. This helped him identify Help Apheresis as a treatment for his son’s Long Covid.

In this interview with our co-founder and director Markus Klotz, father and son reflect on their trip to Cyprus and how Zac, as a 13-year-old teenager, experienced the process of going from being severely disabled to being a healthy teenager again (with only mild fatigue left after exercise – which is still improving).

Arthur Bradshaw (79), Long Covid, Reino Unido
Arthur, del Reino Unido, habla con nuestro cofundador Markus Klotz sobre su recuperación de la falta de aliento (SOB) y otros síntomas de Long Covid con Help Apheresis. Después de su sangre inicialmente ha mostrado hipercoagulopatía severa, después de sólo 2 semanas y 4 tratamientos de aféresis de ayuda, Arthur ha visto resultados inesperadamente rápidos y en sus propias palabras cuenta una historia muy emotiva cómo su vida ha tomado un giro diferente últimamente, porque su hijo Stephen, que era Long Covid afectada a sí mismo, sospechaba que no sólo sufría de insuficiencia cardíaca después de Covid, pero Long Covid.

Maria Endrodi, Síndrome Post-Vac / Covid Largo, Hungría
Maria y Tamas, una encantadora pareja de Hungría con raíces en EE.UU. e Italia, llegaron a nuestra isla a principios de septiembre y, antes de que nos diéramos cuenta, colmaron a nuestro equipo de dulces pasteles y amor. Cuando María llegó, sus niveles de ansiedad eran apenas soportables para ella, sufría una fuerte debilidad muscular, problemas respiratorios, niebla cerebral, fatiga constante, malestar post esfuerzo, insomnio, desregulación de la temperatura y neuropatía, así como otros problemas autoinmunes. Sus síntomas comenzaron hace más de dos años tras la primera vacunación, pero empeoraron gravemente tras una infección por Covid. Tras eliminar varios agregados de coagulación de gran tamaño de las venas de su brazo, se le colocó un catéter para poder llevar a cabo los tratamientos de aféresis de ayuda a pesar de la hipercoagulación grave. Tras 5 semanas de terapia combinada con 6 aféresis de ayuda, anticoagulantes, antivirales y varios sueros intravenosos, se recuperó y ahora vuelve a ser casi la misma de antes. Lo más bonito no fue sólo ver cómo sus síntomas debilitantes se iban resolviendo uno a uno, sino también ver cómo la ansiedad iba desapareciendo semana tras semana. En el breve vídeo de 3 minutos, mientras recibe su último tratamiento intravenoso con glutatión, se puede ver lo llena de energía que está de nuevo y lo feliz que está la pareja de haber cambiado tan drásticamente el curso de su enfermedad.

‘I arrived here practically in a wheelchair, I had not been well for a very long time. I did all of my own research before I left Australia and Help Apheresis seemed to have the answers to help fix me. From the minute you walk into the clinic, the staff could not be more friendly. They seem to have blended the German efficiency and the Cypriot hospitality. It is such a warm environment to be treated, the staff is incredible, they put me so much at ease with their kindness. The treatment itself is not that invasive, especially if you have the catheter because it means you can have your hands free and read et cetera. Now after treatment Nr. 4 I feel fantastic, but I still have to finish the course of 6 treatments because the filters are still coming out blocked. Overall I can’t thank the clinic enough, the treatment has been fantastic. Overall it has been a fantastic experience, I could not recommend it highly enough. When I realized there is a clinic in Cyprus, the fact that it is a beautiful island made the choice of me and my wife easy. It is a great place to recover and heal by the sea. My advice to other patients is to do your own research, work out if you have micro-clotting which is easy to understand if you follow the symptoms. And then do what it takes to get this treatment to get your life back.’

Niños y adolescentes de Long Covid: Lycke Ostby Paulsen (13), Long Covid, Noruega
Lycke didn’t want to travel to Cyprus, but her parents managed to get her to us with a compromise between holiday and treatment. Her severe Long Covid symptoms (Fatigue, POTS, PEM, Insomnia, Light&Sound&Movement Sensitivity, Anxiety, Dizziness, Skin Rashes, Nerve Pain, Muscle & Rheumatic Issues etc.) improved so significantly she is now back to school 3 days a week and out of the wheelchair, walking around with her friends in school. She also started singing again for the first time in 1.5 years – her mood is back, her anxiety gone and Lycke is a normal teenager again!
Her mother Laila talks with our co-founder Markus about their journey to Cyprus and the ups and downs along their daughter’s recovery. Lycke loved Cyprus so much, she did not want to go back home at the end.
The family felt so well taken care of, that the clinic’s staff became family to them within no time. They were happy to finally have found the support and treatment they needed for their daughter.

Verena Hunger, Síndrome Post Vac, Austria
Verena had already tried every possible treatment when she came to our clinic, she even tried Immunoadsorption before and it helped her with the neurological symptoms she was having, but it didn’t help with the fatigue. Unfortunately, three months after her Immunoadsorption, she got worse again as it’s effect was temporary.

She also shares her experience on how easy her travel to Cyprus was with the help of our partner Thomas from TravelSupportCyprus who took care of everything travel and medical travel related for her, so she did not have to worry or stress about anything. She arrived well rested and with literally no travel burden. Beforehand she had thought travelling to Cyprus would be much more difficult.

‘I had 4 Help Apheresis treatments last year in Germany. They brought me back to 80% of my former capacity. Unfortunately I reinfected with Covid again after and as I did not have Early Treatment packages back then, my Long Covid came back with even more symptoms.
I decided to go for Combination Therapy with Help Apheresis at the Apheresis Center in Cyprus. I was put on the clinics’ MCAS protocol a few weeks prior to my arrival and I arrived with my MCAS being much better already. Now I am receiving Help Apheresis, IV treatments and medication protocols since three weeks and my symptoms are mostly gone already, I could even have a beer yesterday for the first time again and enjoy the beach, no more pain and anxiety!
The Apheresis Center is a totally different experience and I am super happy I chose Cyprus. It is very different from Germany. The doctors, nurses and the whole team are doing everything to bring me back to my full capacity, their knowledge about Long Covid and the individually adapted treatment is great – a real concierge medicine experience! I missed home last year in Germany – here in Cyprus not a single day, we even extended our stay and will come back next year for holidays!’

Stephanie Hadjiioannou, Covid Largo, Grecia
Stephanie suffered from severe Long Covid. Extreme fatigue and loosing her ability to speak were the most present symptoms, but the list of symptoms was long: Noise and movement sensitivity, dizziness, PEM, cognitive dysfunction/brainfog, memory loss, POTS, headaches, muscle pain and depression. After 6 weeks of treatment with Apheresis, Hyperthermia, IVs, Nutraceuticals and Peptides she was symptom free. It was remarkable to see he getting her ability to speak back so quickly. Cómo saber si está hablando con un Testimonio/Paciente real
Simply request her/his USI – Unique Social Identifier!
In Social Media and Forums Spam and Fake-Posts are a common problem. A great way to identify if you are speaking to a real current or former patient of the Apheresis Center is to request their USI – Unique Social Identifier.
How does a USI (Unique Social Identifier) work? Every Apheresis Center patient can request his/her USI. A USI is a 5 digit code (e.g. 3R7TZ) that is connected to one enquiry from one social account and is valid for a single indentification process only (72 hours), whilst fulfilling all data protection regulations.
¿Cómo funciona?
- Habla con alguien por Internet pero no está seguro de que sea una persona o un paciente real.
- Envíales una solicitud de USI con tu cuenta de redes sociales que utilizas para comunicarte con ellos.
- A continuación, solicitarán al Centro de Aféresis un USI actual de un solo uso (válido durante 72 horas).
- Puede verificarlo (véase más abajo) y comprobar si se trata de un USI válido (está hablando con un paciente/persona real) o no (falso/spam)
